This month's first AIR project is "Brilliance Challenge"
It is water based fast drying pigment ink, can be stamped on any paper (including coated paper), leather, clay, wood, most of porous surface.
My project is Brilliance Resist-ish technique.
As I mentioned above, Brilliance is pigment ink still can be dried on coated paper.
However, ink will be reactivated with new layer of ink. You'll see what this mean.
Here we go!
Supplies:
- IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Brilliance™ Pigment Ink (colors indicated below)
- Rubber Stamps - Crafter's Companion
- Stencil - Crafter's workshop
- paper towel
- card stocks (White Glossy paper, Printed Paper - Studio45, color card stocks)
DTP Sunflower Yellow and Rocket Red |
Add Meditterean Blue at up right corner |
Place stencil plate and color Rocket Red and Meditterean Blue area |
Wipe out part of stenciled inks - so that inked area turns white-ish. |
Add Sunflower Yellow between red area to blending colors. |
Add Coffee Bean to left bottom area. |
Stamp cityscape with Coffee Bean |
Wipe out stamped image - this will be highlights |
Stamp again with Coffee Beans |
Stamp same image with Graphite Black then wipe off. - this will be shadow. |
Finally stamp the cityscape image with Coffee Beans. Stamp Bodice collage with Graphite Black. |
Then Wipe off. Again, inked area turns white-ish. |
Stamp corners and borders with Graphite Black and Moonlight White. As you see, it is not quite "resist" but makes more transparant effect. Key is using coated paper. Enjoy. |
very cool technique! I'll have to try it for sure!
