Jumbo Dauber work station - Finally!!

You may know I'm Jumbo Dauber lover.  For sponging, backgrounding, spreading, stippling, whatever, I take my Jumbo Dauber first, and it works most of the time.

As a result, I store them a lot, and organizing them nice has been my dream for long time, and now my dream come true.

Tie & Belt holder from local Home Depot, about 8 bucks.

Hold 1 dz. of Jumbo Dauber, woo hoo!
Good thing is, this rack stands by itself. Of course I can hang it on the wall with enclosed screws/anchors.
I can bring it on my working table when I need it, I LOOOOOOVE it

Can be used up-side down, LOL
Seriously, It stands more stable, also putting in and out from the rails is easier.

Also, I can put Dew Drop ink pads & the Jumbo Daubers.
Isn't it nice?

I've found Ink Sweepers can be placed. A-Ha!

If the Dew Drops are only thing, 2 pads can be placed each rails.

As you can see, the Ink Sweepers can be stand vertically.

I believe there more way to use...  maybe belts and ties can be stored, LOL

I'm extremely happy with this discovery!  Hope this idea inspires you.

Until next time

Penny Black flowers with Copic coloring

I'm in love with this stamp since I saw it at CHA. Finally I could open the bag and ink it up!
I'll try to make a few more cards with this elegant image.

Today, I stamped the image with Memento London Fog.
Start coloring Copic markers.

B000,  G000, G00, YG03, YG06,YG95,

and flowers  RV02, RV06, Y08,  BV00, BV02

Then stamp sentiment with Brilliance Graphite Black

For finishing touch, glue pearls at petal bottoms, then assemble the card.

I'll try make more!

Memento + water coloring

After my last project, still wanted to try more water coloring with Memento.

Stamp (Penny Black) flowers with Memento Desert Sand.
Masking technique is used here
then start coloring with Memento Rose Bud

Add some shade with Memento Lilac Posies and a tiny bit of Nautical Blue.
Flower centers are Cantaloupe & Potter's Clay

Sentiment stamp (Penny Black) with Brilliance Graphite Black.

Well, I'm not so happy with the result because these ink was too blurred.. I assume watercolor paper will be better instead of regular card stock.   Hope I can revenge this soon.

With one stamp - continued

Still working on the same stamp.

This one, several colors of Memento are used with water to color.

Main motif is stamped over the background with VersaFine Onyx Black.

some pearls added for finishing touch

Tips!

As a result of water coloring on regular cardstock, the paper got warped very bad.

To fix this, I used die-cutting machine to press it.
Spellbinder's Grand Calibur with embossing plate/foam worked great!

With one stamp

I'm making some card samples which can tell how versatile the stamps are.
With just one stamp, can make many many different expressions.

Stamp with different types and colors of ink
Adding some shades to make the pattern more dimentional

Added panel and embelishment to finish

Almost same construction with above card. Different colors, different shading and different layout.

This one is much more simple.

Keep going, I'll play with these stamps.  Will update more samples.
