September AIR Project #3 White Christmas

Hi all, thank you for stopping by.

It's almost end of September, so not too early to think about holiday preparation.  How about unusual colored Christmas card?   I found this stamp set which already has "white christmas' in it and beautiiful swirl branch....white-ish card maybe?

Here's what I made.

How To

Tap IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink BAHAMA BLUE and PARIS DUSK onto craft sheet (any non porous surface works)

Squeeze small amount (about pea size for this project) of
IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Essential Glue Pad™ refill  next to Memento inks.  Spread out a little bit

Blending inks and glue with stamp (Impression Obsession ) do not over mix.

Stamp on white cardstock

Picking ink/glue mixture, stamp again. then repeat this one more time

With IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink PARIS DUSK stamp "white christmas' (Impression Obsession) on lower part.

Sprinkle Ultra Fine Glitter (Judi-kins), press, then shake off excess glitter

With Spectrum Noir alcoholic marker, color around the letters.

Add more shades

Apply IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink BAHAMA BLUE onto craft sheet again, then pick the colors with IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Jumbo Daubers™.  By this way, I can avoide make a hard line on my dauber.

Blend in from the bottom edge with circular mortion.

Then, assemble card, and glue plastic snowflake (unknown).

Materials

  • IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Jumbo Daubers™
IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink - PARIS DUSK, BAHAMA BLUE
IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Essential Glue Pad™ refill

Judi Kins - Ultra Fine Glitter
    Impression Obsession  Merry & Brite

    White card stock
    Blue & Aqua cardstock
    Plastic snowflake
    Glue Tape

I think this is a kind of quick card - won't take much time.
    Enjoy!

September AIR project #2 Stampendous Stamps

When I got the package for this month project, I was fluttered because my favorite Stampendous stamps were there.   I sew these new images at CHA Las Vegas in July, I decided to get them when available, maybe our angel John knew it.

These new stamps are all small scales, so great for small pieces or ATC.  therefore I tried to make some ornaments for Halloween.

start with stippling IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink Rich Cocoa (ME800) onto white card stock

Using same ink, stamp background stamp (Stampendous) randomly

Stamp main image with IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Brilliance™ Pigment Ink Graphite Black

Add dots using IMAGINE Crafts Brushstix™

Add more background pattern (Stampendous)

I used Spellbinders Medi miXage dies - largest one here.

Position die, run through cutting machine and then dry emboss.

Using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Sponge Daubers™ stencil inside frame with Memento Rich cocoa.

from scrap cardstock and chipboard, cut same shape several pieces.

stack and glue them together, let it dry.

With Brilliance Graphite Black, ink sides

Using squeeze buttle, apply IMAGINE Crafts® GooseBumps™ Texture Spray inside of stenciled area

Let it dry.

Glue half pearls (unknown)

Add Ferro Special Effect Paste to the edge.

Glue black ribbon on backside, and diecut shape (Spellbinders)

Finished

Here's some more samples I made. Basically same technique, but different shape, color, stamps and embellishment are used

Thank you for visiting. Until next time :)

September AIR project #1 Versa Colors and Goosebumps

It's September already! Can't believe fall is here, fun season is just around the corner.

Before I go to fall theme project, I made summer-ish card for AIR project, because our John provided bright colors for me. I'm usually prefer de-saturated colors, these colors are challenging to me, LOL.

IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink is water based pigment ink, slow drying so that hold embossing powder perfectly and colors are crisp and vibrant - 80 colors in total.   It is basic ink, but still I love it, use often for my heat embossing project.

Stamp - Magenta
IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink

Stamp weeds with Canary (11)
Then Fresh Green (22)

and Green (21)

Stamp YOU CAN FLY (Impression Obsession) with Orange (13) on separate cardstock

Stamp bird (Impression Obsession) with Violet (17) and Cyan (19) Apply multi color directly onto stamp.

colors blended nicely :)

with IMAGINE Crafts® InkBlushers™ ink edges withe Fresh Green(22)

Set bird stencil (Groumet Rubber Stamps) with sticky notes. Apply
IMAGINE Crafts® GooseBumps™ Texture Spray with
IMAGINE Crafts® InkBlushers™ thinly. let dry.

Apply Cyan(19) withIMAGINE Crafts® InkBlushers™. Goosebumps resist ink.

Cut out word with Just Rite Paper Craft Die, and hand cut the bird. Assemble Card.

These color combination turned out happily.  Thank you John for pushing me to new color world. :)
