How fun to work on the favorite products! Memory Box offered us a chance to play with their new stamps and dies. I'm in love with their gear dies. They look so cool, adding steam punk taste instantly.
In order to make these gears realistic, some tricks with Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko products are used.
Here we go!
Die cut gears from black card stock |
Apply Memento Luxe Morocco with Jumbo Dauber here and there Allow to dry Apply irRESISTible Bronze with brush. When it's dry, the gear become rustic look. |
For the background, secure the spider web stencil on the white card stock.
Apply Memento Luxe with bristle brush. I used Pistachio, Teal Zeal, Nautical Blue and Gray Flannel
Remove the template, trim off the excess
Apply Memento Luxe Moroco to the edge
Stamp "Happy Halloween" on small piece of white card stock. I used Brilliance Graphite Black for the ink.
Use the spider web stencil again, apply some colors
Assemble card with die cut spiders and bats (both from Memory Box)
A little tip from me
To remove little pieces from die cut like this,
lint lifter (rolled sticky paper) is very usuful.
Also, it is great to pick up small pieces from
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko craft mat,
Hope you enjoy my project.
Thank you for your visit :)
