Dreamweaver Blog Hop

This week IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver Stencils are featuring a Blog Hop showcasing our fabulous products and providing some inspiration for you to get creative! Be sure to leave your comments on each artist's post that you visit for your chance to win a fabulous prize that includes IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver products. Contest closes at 11:59pm PST on Sunday, June15th.

Hi All!

It was about 15 years ago to see the Dreamweaver stencils at local rubber stamp show.
As a stamper, stencil is kind a close tool, of course I purchased a few at the show for trial.  That time, demo was coloring with pastel, rather simple, yet so beautiful.
Since those days, tools and materials have been added to stencil world, and each one of them make the project more fun.

This time, I use Imagine Crafts' Creative Medium as texture paste, in addition to NEON inks.

Supplies

Dreamweaver Stencils

Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko
Radiant NEON inks
Creative Medium - Vintage
Memento Black
Kaleidacolor - Denim
Stencil Brush

Cardstock
masking tape

HOW TO:

Tape down the stencil to the cardstock

With stencil brush, color center of flower with Radiant NEON yellow ink

Add Radiant NEON orange and coral to the petals.  Wipe off the brush

Base coat with Radiant NEON yellow to stems and leaves.

Add Radiant NEON blue here and there

continue adding colors of Radiant NEON green.  Let it dry

Take generous amount of Creative Medium Vintage over the stencil plate

Scrape off excess

Remove the plate carefully

When the Creative Medium dried (takes about 30min) add blueish colors from Kalaidacolor Denin to make background
add more background colors.

Thank you for stopping by!
